March 1994 WSUN Compilation

A sampling of Bob's shows on WSUN throughout the month of March, 1994. Bob talks to an ex-dancer about hemorrhoids; declares Snowbird Appreciation Day; wonders about the secret identities of the Moody Blues; monologues about why America is such a violent place; and other entertaining talk radio for the '90s.

January 10, 1995 - Post-Mortem Tuesday

Bob goes back over the previous day's "Free Shot Monday" show and its lack of substantive content: The most important, hard-hitting issue on people's minds was how dumb the Hooters girls were. Bob turns it into a monologue about the problems facing talk radio, and maybe facing the world in general.

January 9, 1995 - Free Shot Monday

Open phones, with a hefty amount of drivel and a few intelligent calls mixed in - and updates on a pie-throwing station promotion. Bob notes that most of the calls he's getting are trashing the Hooters girls, but an awful lot of what we get on this aircheck is Bob, Jeffy, and the callers teasing Sharon.

November 11, 1994 - Disgusting

A long call from an outraged conservative woman, on the infamous day that Bob and Ron Bennington shared a joint in the studio. This is apparently not the original - Lassiter's opening his show with a cart from an earlier broadcast. But the call itself is absolutely spectacular.

November 10, 1994 - Economy 101

A short call that discusses American economics and debt, especially the relationship between the economy and war.

November 9, 1994 - Eagles Bashing

Bob plays an Eagles song during his show and the board immediately fills with callers who hate the song, the band, and Bob.

November 8, 1994 - Rejecting God's Teachings

Bob delivers a long monologue about the followers of Christianity who reject God's teachings outright: teachings like "vengeance is mine," "Thou shalt not kill," "Thou shalt not bear false witness." It's no coincidence that this is election day, 1994, where the Republicans came roaring into power on a "restoring family values" platform.
